Top 3 things to do with kids around Summit County (10/10 – 10/16)

This week we aimed at providing things to do with kids around Summit County that focus on three different topics:  fostering creativity, promoting fitness, and sparking imagination play.  One activity we chose to highlight week requires a quick trip over to Eagle County, but the Vail Imagination Station is just too good to pass up – especially on days when the weather turns.

Toddlers Paint the Greats – Van Gogh with Lindsay Landers

Description:  Come in and get creative with your toddler! You may not know it, but you’ve got a budding master artist ready to paint the morning away. Please come prepared to get a little messy and have a lot of fun.
When: Monday, Oct 10 from 9:30 – 10:30

Woodward Copper Micro Mini Class Drop-In

Description: Mini class focuses on balance, coordination, body awareness, and fun in an open gym type setting.  Class will use the spring floor, foam pits, trampolines, and tumbling features.
When:  Sundays through Oct 30
Ages 1-2:  10:00-10:45am | Ages 3-4:  11:00 – 11:45 | Ages 5-7:  4:00 – 4:45pm

Vail Imagination Station

Description: The Imagination Station, a thoughtful play space, features a Thoughts Flow to inspire experimental play, a Play Wall to integrate physical and cognitive learning, a light table and builder boards that inspire problem-solving, a hyperbolic funnel that models planetary motion, and a vet clinic where children can play doctor to the animals.
When: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm
