A couple of great Valentine’s Day Ideas …

We are so fortunate to live in an amazing community that provides endless recreational opportunities as well as a variety of events and town activities to keep us entertained all winter long.  In addition to these fun opportunities, several exciting NEW restaurants have opened their doors in recent months.

For Valentine’s Day, consider combining an activity with dinner or lunch at one of the new restaurants in town.

Romantic Activity Ideas

An evening Snowshoe or Cross Country ski on the Wellington Trail!  A romantic little ski or hike with headlamps through the forest and along French Creek.  An out-and-back, park at the Wellington Bike Park off Stables Rd. in Breckenridge. Look for the Trailhead marker on the left just past the parking area.  The Wellington Trail ends at the entrance of the Country Boy Mine.  Be sure to dress warm and bring your headlamp or walk in the moonlight.

Go Sledding at Carter Park!  Grab a sled for two and head to the Carter Park sledding hill in Breckenridge.

A romantic walk down Main Street! Ladies love to shop and Main St. Breckenridge has it all. Shop for art, sportswear or jewelry! Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!
